Maryam Velasque began her career in management consulting at KPMG Peat Marwick and then KPMG Consulting, in charge of developing several industries (automotive, ready-to-wear, cosmetics), services (electric transport, postal distribution) and public enterprises (debt collection, ministries).
She then joined GE Capital as Advisor to the Chairman. Appointed Managing Director of GE Capital’s X-Sell business, Maryam Velasque joined the bank’s Executive Committee, and was in charge of customer portfolio development strategy. She was appointed Managing Director of GE Capital’s Savings business, with the task of setting up the business and launching a high-end savings offering on the French market, aimed exclusively at wealthy customers.
She joined X-PM in 2016 to create the Financial Services offering.
Maryam Velasque holds a Master’s degree from the Léonard de Vinci School of Management.
