Xavier Véret

Xavier Véret joins X-PM Transition Partners as Associate Director Finance. His experience as a senior CFO in high-transformation or turnaround environments will increase X-PM’s impact on its clients.

Xavier has spent most of his career in finance and investment funds, and has had the opportunity to work in a wide range of industries. He started his career in auditing with Arthur Andersen (1990-1996) before holding several key financial positions within the Valeo Group (Director of Internal Audit, Deputy Chairman and Group Financial Control Director between 1996-2007. He experienced the challenges of an investment fund as Director of Equity Investments at LBO France (2007-2010), before taking over as Head of Management Control at Casino Group (2010-2013) and finally as Head of Finance, Purchasing and Information Systems at Presstalis (2013-2018).

Since 2018, Xavier has been involved in a number of challenging transition projects, mainly in turnaround or high-transformation environments, and has successfully positioned the Finance department as a strategic and organizational driver.

Since January 2022, Xavier has also been an Independent Director and member of the SMCP Group’s audit and advisory committees. Xavier Veret is a graduate of the London Chambre de Commerce et de l’Industrie, and holds a Maîtrise de Gestion (Université Paris Dauphine) in management control and finance.  

He joins X-PM in September 2023.
